Overview
The 10 Days Morocco Discovery Tour is our most balanced and comprehensive journey. This 10-day expedition allows you to delve deeply into the soul of Morocco, combining the vibrant energy of the Imperial Cities with the rugged majesty of the Atlas Mountains and the endless horizons of the Sahara Desert.
We take you beyond the typical tourist trails to experience the authentic daily life of Berber villages, the intricate craftsmanship of ancient medinas (Fes, Meknes, and Marrakech), the raw beauty of cascading waterfalls, and the tranquil silence of the dunes. With extended stays in key locations, you will experience Morocco at a relaxed and meaningful pace, making incredible discoveries each day.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome to Casablanca - Rabat
Arrive at Casablanca Airport. Visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque before driving to the capital city, Rabat, to explore the Hassan Tower and the picturesque Oudaya Kasbah. Overnight in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat - Chefchaouen (The Blue Pearl)
After breakfast, we head north into the Rif Mountains to the famous blue city of Chefchaouen. Spend the afternoon wandering through the tranquil, photogenic blue-washed streets and vibrant local markets.
Day 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
Leave the mountains to explore the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Stop in the imperial city of Meknes to see Bab Mansour, then continue to Fes, the intellectual and spiritual capital of Morocco.
Day 4: Guided Exploration of Fes
A full day dedicated to the sprawling medina of Fes. With a local guide, navigate the thousands of alleyways, visiting the famous tanneries, madrasas, and artisan quarters that have remained unchanged for centuries.
Day 5: Fes - Ifrane - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Desert
A scenic travel day through the diverse landscapes of the Middle Atlas. Stop in 'Little Switzerland' (Ifrane), see monkeys in the cedar forests, and descend through the Ziz Valley into the Sahara Desert at Merzouga.
Day 6: Deep Sahara Exploration & Camel Trek
Spend the day exploring the desert region. Visit nomad families, enjoy a traditional 'Madfouna' (Berber pizza) lunch, and in the late afternoon, ride a camel into the dunes to spend the night in a luxury desert camp.
Day 7: Merzouga - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Wake up for the sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, head towards the sheer cliffs of the Todra Gorges for a short hike, then journey through the Dades Valley, spending the night amongst its striking rock formations.
Day 8: Dades Valley - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
Travel the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Visit Ouarzazate and the magnificent Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass to reach Marrakech.
Day 9: Marrakech Medina & Sightseeing
Discover the magic of Marrakech. A guided tour will take you to the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and the bustling souks. Optional visit to the Majorelle Gardens in the afternoon.
Day 10: Departure from Marrakech or Casablanca
Enjoy a final Moroccan breakfast. Depending on your flight, you will be transferred to either Marrakech airport or Casablanca airport for your journey home.
