Located approximately 150 kilometers northeast of Marrakech, this full-day private journey takes you across the scenic plains of Tadla, passing cute rural towns and ancient groves. Once at the falls, you will descend winding shaded steps, take a traditional hand-rowed wooden boat ride to drift close to the refreshing mist, and meet the charming resident troop of wild Barbary Macaque monkeys. Experience Itinerary
08:00 AM: Departure from Marrakech
Your professional driver arrives at your hotel or riad with a modern, air-conditioned vehicle. Depart Marrakech to the northeast, watching the city expand into fertile, orange tree-filled rural plains.
11:00 AM: Arrival & Guided Trekking
Arrive at Ouzoud. Meet our licensed local guide and begin your descent down the secure, hand-paved staircase paths. Along the way, pause to admire panoramic lookout points, ancient water-powered grain mills, and feel the gentle mist of the falls.
12:30 PM: Authentic Hand-Rowed Boat Ride
Board a local wooden boat manually rowed by master boatmen. Cruise across the green natural pool to get incredibly close to the roaring cascades, feeling the magnificent spray, which makes for breathtaking holiday snaps.
01:30 PM: Traditional Tajine Lunch with a View

03:00 PM: Wild Monkeys Encounter & Return

Important Points to Note
- Please wear comfortable walking shoes; the path has multiple stairs and can occasionally be damp/slick near the bottom.
- In summer, the waterfalls are very popular for swimming, so bringing a swimsuit and towel is strongly recommended.
- Macaque monkeys are wild; do not attempt to feed them artificial human snacks or pet them.
- Always keep Dirhams on hand for minor transactions, bathroom facilities, and tipping.
- The drive to Ouzoud takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours each way, featuring scenic and diverse rural scenery.
